Why is coconut oil a super food when it is a saturated fat?

Saturated fats are mainly fat molecules that have no double bonds between the carbon molecules, this is because they are saturated with hydrogen molecules. Saturated fats are always solid at room temperature.

Coconut oil is made from pressing the white meat of the giant nut and nearly 84% of the calories are made up of saturated fat, unlike olive oil that only hcoconutoilsaturatedfatas 14% of saturated fat and 63% in the butter. However, the coconuts’ saturated fat is coming from and made up of mostly Medium Chain Triglycerides or MCT’s that are partially man-made fats.
